![]() ![]() Mandel grew up in Manhattan and graduated from Middlebury College and Brown University. He lives in Rhode Island with his wife, Kathy, and cats, Sam and Betty. His titles have been part of exhibits at the Museum of Natural History in New York, at the Smithsonian, and at the National Baseball Hall of Fame, and have been translated into Japanese, Chinese, German, Italian, Dutch, Swedish and Danish.
